another water ski season is ending

We love our waterskiing.
Sad to see another season end :(
We didn't get to go as much as usual this summer because of Chads broken collar bone, but we are happy to get a little in before the cold weather comes.

Here's what we do when daddy comes home- and why we live in the country.

Ok so maybe we're a little redneck- but that's why we live clear out in the country- so my kids can ride dirt bikes with their dad in their bare feet and pajamas.

Chill out- they're only going 5mph

she actually insists on wearing this helmet- it's kinda cute

my tomboy princess

Then we chill on our front lawn, shoot some mini hoops, and tickle that cute little baby boy until he drools.
until the mosquito's come out..... then we run inside and get ready for bed.

But you really know you're a redneck when your neighbor pulls up with this sweet ride wondering if Chad can come out and play :)- HAHAHA

The power of a princess night gown

She earned this nightgown by making her bed every morning for two weeks without being asked. She loved it so much that she wore it for 4 nights and 5 days in a row and cried when I insisted on washing it. Then one day while I had my visiting teachers over she decided to become the spawn of Satan and do horrible naughty things to get some attention. ( like attacking them with plastic swords/ jumping on the couch behind them/ spitting/ tooting/ kicking/and screaming everytime I tried to talk ) SOOO  the princess nightgown got taken away. She cried and screamed and threw fits and then apologized and promised that she would never act like that again. But I don't mess around-she has to wait until they come back next month to prove that she can act better before she gets her night gown back....... lets hope they come back :)

I'm pretty sure that waiting to get this nightgown back has been the most painful thing she has had to endure in her whole 4 years of life. I hear about that dang nightgown all day!! But I have to stick to my guns or she'll know I'm a pushover. I'm standing my grounds!!- Please visiting teachers - come back soon!

*two peas in a pod*

I know it probably won't always be like this........ but these two girls are joined at the hip. They are night and day different from each other but they love each other like crazy! They hold hands where ever we go and share everything with each other. Carmyn waits for Paige to wake up every morning then hops in her crib so they can play with their dolls then eat breakfast together. Then they usually play dress up and make a huge mess pulling out all of their toys-but I love that they play together so well. Don't get me wrong- we have our moments of screaming and fighting! But they usually get over it pretty quickly and go right back to playing together. Carmyn is starting preschool again soon and I think Paige is going to be pretty lost without her best friend at home in the morning :(

And together they do pretty good and taking care of their little brother too.
Although I'm anxious to see if it's going to turn into "The 3 Musketeers" or "girls against boys"

Rub a dub dub... I now have 3 kiddos in my tub!

Asher has graduated to the big bathtub!
He splashes and squeals and gasps for air when the water hits his face. Then he pulls himself up on the side and tries to grab the running water while his sisters laugh their little hearts out at how funny it is to have  him in their bath with them.
....and despite the near drownings that always seem to occur with three slippery little bums in the same bath- I LOVE that I can get them all clean at once!

Family Reunion!

My Moms family had a big family reunion the week of the 4th of July at Bear Lake. We had a blast- it went by way too fast! This is only a small portion of the pictures I took!
