What a great three years!. We have had a lot of fun, excitement, change, and growth in the past three years. After our honeymoon on a Carribean Cruise, we started our marriage by moving to North Carolina to live at a waterski school. Chad taught waterskiing and participated in many tournaments, and I did travel nursing. It was such a fun way to start off our marriage by getting away and having fun doing what we love. Next we moved back home to Utah and bought our first house. Chad worked for his family's business doing excavation and I resumed my job in the ER and eventually the OR at Mckay Dee Hospital. We had an exciting surprise in the fall of '07 and found out we were pregnant. Carmyn came in '08 and changed our lives completely....for the good:). Now here we are in Kansas City, MO with a new job for Chad and a completely new life to start again. As hard as change can be, it has completely strengthened our marriage and made us realize that we are in this together......for eternity! Every ending leads to a new beginning. I love you Chad....... and I know I'm in for a lifetime of new beginnings......I'm so happy to start them all with you!
(those pictures are really bad quality- I know. I had to take a picture of a picture. My CD of wedding pictures is probably packed away in some box- I wouldn't know the first place to look)

These are pictures of the day we got engaged. We were on a snowmobile trip with my family in West Yellowstone. Chad took me on a night hike at midnight and proposed in the moonlight on a bridge over the river. Pretty romantic huh! The best part was that I was totally surprised! I was sweating because I thought I was on this hike to get a workout, Chad was dragging behind me trying to get me to stop at the right spot so he could pop the question. It turned out great. He bought me a diamond and just put it on a regular band- then later he took me to the jewelry store to pick out the ring I wanted (that way he could keep it all a surprise). Chad laughs when he look back on this night because he was trying to make it romantic and I wanted to pack our guns with us in case we ran into any wild animals on our hike. How was I supposed to know?
