Oh the life of an 8 month old.....
Carmyn Jayde is 8 months old and on the go. She loves to crawl as fast as she can and stand up on everything sturdy enough to hold her. She is starting to cruise along the furniture- which makes me nervous because she has no coordination yet- which leads to multiple bruises on her head. She is very vocal and loud. she say's mama and baba all day long, then she has her own language for everything else she talks about. Chad and I are working on doing some simple sign language with her which will hopefully help her out with the screaming thing she does when she wants something:) We are amazed at how fast she is learning everything ( which most parents are amazed by their own children )- she makes us laugh constantly! We love you Carmyn!

GrADUaTioN

HooRaay for Chad!! He Graduated last friday! He graduted with his Tech Sales degree from Weber State. It's been a long road of taking classes here and there, but this last semester he got really dedicated and decided to take 22 credits so that he could hurry and finish. He did it- along with working 40 plus hours a week. I'm quite proud of him :) Now comes the fun part of sending out resume's to find a good sales job! He's hoping to get in the medical field- so we'll see what happens....

tUrKEy dAY !

Yummy Turkey Day!! Lots of thanks to my mom for the wonderful meal. We had a great time eating, playing games, watching movies, and hanging out with the babies :) The cousins-Carmyn and Elijah- had a great time getting to know each other. Carmyn was a little rough with her cousin- but I'm pretty sure he'll be getting back at her soon :) My brother Nate and his wife Kristin came down from Washington for the week- It was so fun spending the week with them! Oh and I had to post a picture of the babies and their hats- they're pretty cute!

Never Trust a Good Deal!
So I found this awesome deal in an add in the paper- $4.99 for over 30 pictures at the Walmart photography center. The only kick was that you could only choose one pose. OK I can go get Carmyns 6 month pictures taken- It'll be easy to

Defination of quirk:n.
1. A peculiarity of behavior; an idiosyncrasy: "Every man had his own quirks and twists" Harriet Beecher Stowe.
2. An unpredictable or unaccountable act or event; a vagary: a quirk of fate.
Rules: Link the Person who Tagged you. Mention rules on your blog. Tell about 6 quirks of yours. Tag 6 fellow bloggers to do the same.Leave a comment to let them know.1. Hmmm... Well I'm really bad at trying to diagnose everyone's medical problems (and mental problems )- I think its just a nurse thing- You get to the point were you think you've heard it all! But I'm sure I haven't even heard the half of all the problems people have.
2.I'm constantly cleaning out Carmyns nose with the baby booger sucker bulb. I'm definitely anti booger!
3. Shaving my legs- I just know that one of these days I'm going to get in an accident and break my leg or something- and everyone in the ER and OR is going to comment on my hairy legs - So I must stay well shaved!
4. This one's from CHad- He says I grunt like Tim the Tool Man Taylor when I'm eating a really good steak- I think he's exaggerating a little.
5. I hate scary movies! I won't even watch them- not even for Halloween. I really get nightmares and freak myself out! Luckily Chad isn't that into them either- so I can avoid them for the most part.
6. Ok the last and the worst quirk I have- and the most embarrasing- I have a Fear of Left hand Turns when I'm driving! I cannot turn left onto a busy road and merge into traffic. I know I'm going to get hit and Die! I can't do it. I will turn right- drive until I get to a light with a left arrow- then flip a U on a non- busy road and then turn right to get going in the right direction. It's pitiful I know.
Well there's plenty more- but I'm really glad I only had to expose 6 of them :) Ok I tag- LESLEY, JODIE, MEGAN, MICHELLE, KRISTIN, and LESLIE J. - HAVE FUN!

Carmyn is 5 months old!
I can't believe how fast Carmyn is growing up! She's 5 months old, she weighs 14 lbs, She's rolling over all the time, and she's so close to sitting up on her own. She loves to laugh at Hooch, smile at herself in the mirror, and she wants to eat everything we eat- but all she gets is rice cereal. She has this funny raspy voice, and a really annoying high pitch squeal that I hear all day long ! When I go to get her out of her crib in the morning I usually find her either sucking on her toes, or rolled over on her tummy playing with the ties on her bumpers. She is so much fun- I can't get enough!

The Blessing Day

Chad gave Carmyn a beautiful blessing this last Sunday. Thanks so much to all of our family and friends who came to celebrate our baby with us! She didn't like her dress too much when I was trying it on her- so she fussed until she fell asleep- then I got some good pics!
What a great day to remember. She looked so perfect and she didn't make a peep through the whole blessing. After Chad was finished with the blessing- he sat down with her and she just gazed at him for about 5 min. with the most loving eyes. It was a moment I won't forget.
